Parkside Spanish Revival
Situated along the lush edge of Audubon Park, this 1940s Spanish Revival home draws the landscape in with a painterly wallcovering blurring the line between garden and foyer. The original front rooms, with warm wood paneling and gracious proportions, set a traditional foundation, while graphic pattern, sculptural furnishings, and unexpected color pairings bring an unmistakable energy to each space.
Throughout, natural materials against lacquered walls, antique rugs beneath modern pieces, and warm wood tones alongside cool hues strike a balance of texture and form. A converted rear porch, now a sun-drenched breakfast room wrapped in botanical fabric and garden light, distills the spirit of the project: a home rooted in its architecture and setting, layered with the personality of a family that knows how to live.
