Uptown Residence

Part family house, part creative sanctuary, this Uptown home is a showcase for a discerning client's lifetime of collecting. Polished front rooms provide moments of calm while the kitchen and family room absorb the energy of everyday life.

Setting the tone for the rest of the house, the foyer integrates tradition and modernity. Flowing through the sitting room—a space for grounding and connection—warm drab walls embrace blue and white china, while art and furnishings are decidedly classic. The primary bedroom softens with a calm, airy palette and sculptural lines, while the adjacent dressing room is a celebration of fashion and femininity. As much an exercise in curation as in design, the project unfolded in a variety of unique spaces crafted to provide moments for intentional living.
