We are often enlisted at the beginning stages of a project to help assemble teams, develop the scope, and determine the overall project concept. If a project has been developed with an architect, we often confirm furniture plans with the architecture and begin developing material and fixture selections.

Upon review, we will typically schedule a call or site visit to learn more and determine if the project is a good fit for our studio. Once the project scope is defined, the proposal process starts. No fees are associated with the this process.

Logan Killen Interiors specializes in high end residential design and boutique hospitality design. We prefer to be involved in all stages of the design process for a holistic approach. However, we are flexible and can tailor our services specifically to the project and client at hand.

Our fees are based on hourly rates. After a project scope is defined, we estimate the amount of time it will take to execute the design based on our experience and past projects.

The design service fee is separate from the fees needed to purchase any goods for construction or furnishings.

LKI typically purchases all furnishings, passing along trade pricing plus a 10% mark up. We provide all ordering, tracking, warehousing, and installation. All items are inspected upon arrival at our commercial receiving warehouse.

LKI prefers to purchase all furnishings, offering a turn-key solution for our clients. However, some clients like to be more hands on in the execution phases. This structure is typically defined in the onboarding phase.

Timelines vary dependent on the project scope. Most residential projects have a design phase of 3-9 months, with a construction phase of 6-18 months. LKI produces schedules at the start of every project to align expectations of all team members and actively seeks to streamline all aspects of design and construction.
